All you need
1 packet samosa/spring roll pastry, thawed
1 box cream cheese
oil for deep frying
2 tbsps all purpose flour
4 tbsps water
1/2 cup al alali Icing Sugar
1/2 cup water
3 crushed cardamom seeds (optional)
1 tbsp lemon/lime juice
Directions
- In a bowl, mix flour and water until creamy texture
 - Cut the cheese block into 1 cm x 5 cm pieces
 - Cut the square pastry sheet in half
 - Place a piece of the cheese into the pastry, fold and roll
 - Seal the sides with the flour water mix
 - Deep fry the rolls until golden brown on both sides
 - To prepare the syrup, boil water and sugar on medium heat, until slightly thick, add lime juice and cardamom seeds, simmer for 2 minutes
 - Remove the cardamom seeds, dip the rolls into the sugar syrup
 - Serve and enjoy!
